Bollywood desk.  In the upcoming film 'Bala', both lead characters Bhumi Pednekar and Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen in the same look.  Prosthetic and makeup have played an important role in creating this look.  While the lead actor Ayushman Khurana will be shown bald in the film, the lead actress Bhumi Pednekar has also been given a dark skin tone look.  Ayushmann's look was created with the help of prosthetic and skull cap, but for the look of the land, the makers resorted to alcohol-based makeup.

Bhumi used to listen to music during makeup

In the film, Bhumi's character is shown as dark-colored.  The general belief is that artists do not need much time to show in dark colors.  Color and touch-ups may have worked, but the reality here is something else.  The makeup team of the film did many experiments for the color of the land.  Her makeup took about two to two and a half hours.  During this time she used to listen to music.

In this way, the makeup of the land was done

Instead of painting with the dark color on the face, and alcohol-based makeup was prepared.  It was sprayed slowly on the face of the land.  All this was done by spraying makeup paste with tools like a toothbrush.  During the shooting, her makeup was layered at different time intervals.

 Helpful skull cap

While the makers used different types of make-up for the land, the makers resorted to a skull cap to give Ayushmann a bald look.  Ayushman used to get up at four in the morning for makeup and this process took two and a half to three hours.  In this film, the responsibility of the makeup of the land was in the hands of artist Preeti Sheel.  He has groomed Akshay Kumar in Rajkumar Bala's bold avatar in 'Housefull 4'.

Through this makeup process, the dark color was able to come right on the face of the land.  Initially, even though it may seem strange to people, when you watch the film, you will get used to it.
